I am a Doctor of Sociology specializing in the social impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Senior Advisor UN Women and & Advisory Member on Artificial Intelligence, Inter-American Development Bank. I work on projects related to the ethical and social dimensions of AI, with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), and algorithmic bias. As a social scientist in the STEM field, it is essential to determine methodologies and processes of social participation and co-creation, in order to define new technologies for social good based on Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to explore the new frontiers that promote inclusive societies.
